North Carolina “Sunburst” button. A large amount of these buttons were purchased from the State of North Carolina by the Confederate government, for the Army of Tennessee! This specific button was dug in FRANKLIN TENNESSEE along the Columbia Pike road. It’s missing its shank, but that tends to be the normal occurrence with these buttons due to the solder that held them on being brittle with age. Very cool piece, and would no doubt be great for any Confederate Army of Tennessee Display! — $150
